Rue du Hohwald, in the Gare district of Strasbourg, La Fabrique de théâtre welcomes for the sixth year associations to help people in precarious situations from 9 July to 31 August to overcome the shortage of volunteers during the summer period. Hundreds of people come to pick up a meal and a little comfort each day. 24,000 meals were distributed in total in 2024.
The City of Strasbourg, the Secours Populaire and Abribus observe a steady increase in the number of visitors to their summer food distributions. The associations had to put in place restrictions compared to the 2024 session.
