The crying of a baby alerted the grandmother. A woman gave birth in the courtyard of her house, in Manzanita municipality Simón Planas de Lara, but instead of sheltering him she abandoned him in the middle of darkness and cold. On Tuesday night, a woman of approximately 23 years of age, gave birth and wanted to get rid of the little one leaving him in the courtyard, presumably, with wadding (thick cotton foil) inside her mouth and fled the scene.
