The municipal elections in Liberec were won by the Mayors for the Liberec Region (SLK). They won for the third time in a row. Second place belongs to the new group Lepší Liberec, and third place will be taken by the ANO movement. The fourth entity to enter the council in the regional city is Liberec Open to People and Pirates. Almost 90% of the votes have been counted.
The municipal elections in Liberec were dominated by the Mayors for the Liberec Region, who ran independently this year and, unlike in previous elections, defeated the ANO movement by a large margin. Andrej Babiš's movement, on the other hand, fell behind in third place.
After counting the votes in half of the electoral districts, the Mayors for the Liberec Region are currently leading in the municipal elections in Liberec. The candidate Lepší Liberec is following them, and the ANO movement would achieve the imaginary bronze medal.
In the Liberec municipal elections, after counting approximately 23 percent of the precincts, the Mayors for the Liberec Region are leading with 27.61 percent, followed by Lepší Liberec with 20.08 percent. ANO is in third place with 20.03 percent.
