The United Commissions of Constitutional Points and Electoral Reform will approve this Tuesday the opinion to the presidential initiative of electoral reform, where only a simple majority is required to approve it and, therefore, would be sufficient with the votes of Morena.
The electoral reform will be analyzed tomorrow in the United Commissions of Constitutional Points and of Political-Electoral Reform of the Chamber of Deputies, and according to legislative sources, the opinion could be discussed and voted in plenary the next day. According to the call issued this Monday, the meeting will be face-to-face and will take place at 6 p.m.
A few hours after the beginning of the discussion of the draft constitutional reform in electoral matters, the Morena parliamentary group incorporated four morenists into one of the two committees that will vote on the opinion to guarantee a simple majority.
