The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said this Thursday that it has seen positive surprises for the growth of emerging and developing economies in the first three months of the year, related to the reductions and pauses in the tariff war promoted by US President Donald Trump, which could influence an upward review of the slowdown projections for 2025.

IMF spokesperson Julie Kozack applauded the Central Bank's plan to "rebuild reserves" and announced that a technical mission will arrive later this month to the country "to discuss the reform agenda expected of the authorities."
