Citizens Utility Board Warn Ameren Customers About Higher Bills This Summer

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Ameren customers could be paying $37 to $45 more for their energy bill this summer, and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) is spreading awareness about it. Starting on June 1, customers could see a spike in energy costs anywhere from 18-22%. As we head into summer, this will affect anybody who runs their air conditioning and uses Ameren energy.
