Illinois Attack Opens July Ball Handling and Shoot Out Training for Aspiring Basketball Players
The program emphasizes ball handling, shooting and decision-making as coaches use game-like drills and feedback to help players improve confidence.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the Chicago Travel Basketball Organization Illinois Attack launched its July Ball Handling and Shoot Out Training program in Aurora, offering young athletes a structured pathway to sharpen fundamentals for competitive play.
"The difference between a good player and a confident player often comes down to repetition," said an Illinois Attack spokesperson, emphasizing how the program strengthens skills through purposeful repetition and game-like situations.
Coaches provide real-time feedback during sessions, helping participants improve mechanics, footwork, and decision-making. The Sunday Night Training program supports players at every level by fostering long-term growth on the court.
Players learning to maintain control under pressure become better positioned to protect possessions and create scoring opportunities during critical moments like fast breaks and half-court sets.
Interested families can register by visiting the organization's website or contacting the office at 888 S Frontenac St, Aurora, by calling 815-343-3144.
