"Bravo!" wrote Konrad Berkowicz, a Confederation MP, commenting on the act of vandalism that took place in Krakow. An unknown perpetrator repainted the colorful stairs on Tatrzańska Street red and white. The multicolored stairs, featuring quotes from Szymborska, Gałczyński, Poświatowska, and Wyspiański, among others, have been a popular attraction for tourists and residents of the capital of Małopolska for years.
