Austrian customs investigators have dealt a blow to international cigarette smuggling: Approximately eight million counterfeit cigarettes were seized at an illegal factory in the industrial district of Lower Austria, near the Burgenland border. The ministry confirmed a corresponding report in the "Kronen Zeitung" (online) to the APA news agency on Wednesday.
