Illegal boat moorings targeted in Palm Beach County waterways as agencies issue citations

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Some of the boats moored in Palm Beach County waterways are not tied to anchors at all. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, officers working the water have found vessels held in place by car engines, outboard engines, cinder blocks, concrete rubble and steel augers driven four to six feet into the bottom.
