As part of the illegal gambling investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 33 people were arrested.
In a simultaneous operation targeting 45 suspects who were determined to have facilitated and profited from illegal betting sites, 41 suspects were taken into custody. Of those detained, 33 were referred to the court with a request for arrest, and 8 with a request for judicial control.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that 33 suspects have been arrested and 8 suspects have been placed under judicial supervision in the illegal betting investigation. Following the operation targeting 45 suspects on September 29, 7 more suspects have been included in the investigation, and 2 suspects are still being sought.
