- Separately, on Friday, a 19-year-old BSc Nursing student allegedly died by suicide in her hostel room in the Rajinder Nagar area; fellow students took her to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
- The Sir Ganga Ram Hospital administration stated it was "deeply shocked and concerned" regarding the incident and is cooperating with the Rajinder Nagar Police Station investigation.
