- The IIT Bombay Faculty Forum president, Professor Rajkumar S Pant, asserted Doolla reported 'academic malpractice' per Senate-approved guidelines. The Mumbai Crime Branch is forensically auditing Wakode's mobile phone to determine if ChatGPT was used.
- Ravindra and Sonali Wakode visited the Mumbai Crime Branch on Tuesday, demanding the immediate arrest of Professor Doolla and Shireesh Kedare. Students staged a campus demonstration supporting Doolla, who was recently relieved from his Dean post.
- Investigating officers are recording student statements and reconstructing campus movements from the examination hall to the hostel, though Professor Doolla has not yet been summoned. Doolla remains a teaching faculty member at IIT Bombay while the inquiry continues.
