IG Group (LON:IGG) Sets New 1-Year Low - What's Next?
On Friday, London-based Group shares fell 22.4% after the company lowered annual targets, expecting around £240 million in Q3 revenue, down 14% year on year.
Revenue retention across the OTC division fell to 70%, having averaged around 80% since the second half of 2025, amid "less supportive market conditions."
Chief Executive Breon Corcoran noted organic first trades at Freetrade grew 25% year on year, signaling strength amid the broader revenue decline.
Consequently, the Group told investors it now expects total revenues to have grown by a "mid-single-digit per cent" for 2026, down from previous guidance of 10% to 15%.
The Board remains confident that current measures will structurally increase OTC revenue retention over the medium to long term, despite expecting greater short-term variability.
