Associate Professor Dr. Gamze Akkuş from Çukurova University (ÇÜ) Faculty of Medicine in Adana stated that high cholesterol often progresses without symptoms, saying, "Only a headache may be observed. Patients usually come to us with complaints such as 'My face is burning, my neck is burning,' or they may present to emergency rooms with life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke."
