According to a Jordanian source who spoke to Sky News Arabic, the eight mistakenly crossed the border into Jordan, were detained by Jordanian border guards and released after the "necessary investigations." Ultimately, the security agreement signed between the two countries led to their rapid release after the circumstances of their border crossing were clarified.
