Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has ordered the reinforcement of forces in the Northern, Central and Southern Commands in preparation for the holiday. A senior commander will be stationed in each sector, the Air Force will place more armed aircraft on alert, and the Navy will increase the number of missile ships at sea.
Israel: The head of the IDF Genstab, Eyal Zamir, ordered a substantial increase in the operational readiness and number of troops in the run-up to Yom Kipur – in the northern, central and southern military districts.
In preparation for the fasting day, the IDF raises an alert in all sectors: infantry forces will be reinforced, pentagonal aircraft will be on high alert, and more missile ships will be sent to sea. Each sector will be attended by a senior commander
