Reynolds Says Regulation Is 'Hardly Ever the Answer' and Isn't for Water's Nitrate Issue

BEAVER CREEK WATERSHED, IOWA, JUL 9 – The project will install conservation practices to reduce nitrate pollution from farms affecting drinking water sources for over 600,000 people, officials said.

Amid central Iowa’s lawn-watering ban, Gov. Reynolds said regulating the agriculture industry is not the answer to Iowa’s drinking-water pollution.
