They still exist, the nations that are exemplary in democracy policy: one example is Iceland. Here the people were allowed to decide whether a resumption of EU accession negotiations is desired. The majority of citizens rejected this. Thus, the eurocratic left-wing and regulatory delusion continues to pass by the Icelanders.

The referendum on August 29th asked: “Should Iceland reopen accession negotiations with the European Union?” The majority of voters, 52.8%, answered no. The answer seems clear, yet there has already been some debate about what that means.
