On Saturday, water managers had to use heavy equipment to clear the Oslavy River bed filled with debris in Oslavany, Brno Region. The situation was serious. There was a threat that the water would overflow the banks, or that the ice would cause problems. However, thanks to the quick intervention of excavators, problems were prevented. Oslavany (Brno region) - Loose ice after the warming in recent days threatened to raise the level of the Oslavy River near Oslavany in the Brno region. The Morava River Basin Authority therefore sent two excavators to the site, which loosened the riverbed and broke up large pieces of ice. It reported this on its Facebook profile.
