Federal authorities said Thursday that three people detained after a standoff Wednesday at a South Burlington home did not include the person identified in a warrant they had obtained to make an arrest.
The Vermont federal authorities pointed out that the individual arrested on Wednesday, March 11, following the intervention of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in a home in South Burlington, did not correspond to the person they were looking for. Faced with this situation, Governor Phil Scott could not be a stranger.
