The US immigration service ICE wants to pay $6.7 million to data platform LexisNexis for access to large amounts of data. ICE intends to use this data in combination with software from the controversial tech company Palantir, which will allow it to easily analyze these enormous volumes of data, 404 Media reports. With access to this data, ICE can more easily track down people who may not have a residence permit.
