ICE Lodges Detainer for Mexican National Accused of Nashville Hit-and-Run

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced it has lodged a detainer for a 48-year-old Mexican national accused of driving onto a Nashville sidewalk and striking four pedestrians in a June hit-and-run, including two people in wheelchairs. ICE New Orleans lodged the detainer for Felipe Alvarado Hernandez earlier this month following his July 29 arrest in connection with the June 13 crash near Demonbreun Street and Music Circle East.
