Gaylord Texan’s 2026 Ice! Exhibit to Feature Harry Potter
The exhibit adds six slides and a Christmas Village, and more than 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice will recreate ten scenes from the classic story.
- Gaylord Hotels is expanding its signature ICE! holiday attraction to eight resorts across the U.S. for the 2026 season, introducing three new themes: Harry Potter, Home Alone, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
- Each attraction features more than 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice created by over 300 expert artisans from Harbin, China, using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
- The Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, will feature Harry Potter as its marquee attraction, while the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland, showcases Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
- Starting today, visitors can purchase tickets or book early bird packages at SoMuchChristmas.com for the holiday season, running from mid-November 2026 through early January 2027.
- Beyond the ice sculptures, resorts will offer the So Much Christmas experience, featuring ice tubing, Christmas carousels, and live stage performances to create an immersive holiday getaway.
