Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) announced that it has reduced the monthly Istanbul Card subscription fee to 1 TL for a short time in order to support millions of students with the start of the 2026-2027 school year. This campaign, which will be valid for installments made by students studying in Istanbul between September 21 and October 17, 2026 via the İstanbulkart Mobile app, will provide a great relief in transportation costs.
