Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy has clarified that his reference to the Chief Minister during his mother Chennamma’s funeral was aimed at Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar. He said the omission of Shivakumar’s name while thanking dignitaries was not intentional.
Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's wife Chennamma was cremated on Monday at a plot of land at the foot of Mavinakere hill in Holenarasipur taluk of Hassan. Chennamma's son Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and his family members visited the burial site today (July 21). Kumaraswamy, who made a promise in front of the burial site, also clarified this issue regarding DK Shivakumar.
