In Toda village of Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, an attempt was made to kill a young man by attacking him with an axe. After the attack, the accused youth fled and threatened the victim's family to kill 26 people. The injured youth has been referred to Meerut. There is an atmosphere of panic in the village and the family has demanded security.
