- A Delta Airlines flight from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam experienced severe turbulence on Wednesday, forcing an emergency landing at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport where 25 people were hospitalized.
- Without warning, during meal service about an hour into the flight, turbulence lasted several minutes and tossed unbelted passengers around the cabin, passengers said.
- Passengers reported, `I watched a wine cart just get thrown into the air`, and flight attendants and loose items hit the ceiling and fell to the ground, making it very scary.
