I took my Minecraft-mad daughters to Alton Towers' new Meet the Mobs event
The trail is included with standard admission and features six themed stops with live characters and recreated Minecraft creatures.
Alton Towers Resort launched the new Minecraft event, featuring six themed locations across the site where children collect stamps. The experience runs until August 28, allowing families to engage with various creatures from the game.
Visitors receive a trail card to hunt for hidden Minecraft Mob locations, encouraging guests to explore different areas. Meeting the baby Mobs proved a popular aspect, offering a relaxed way to slow down the day.
Unlike many extras, the trail is included with a standard ticket. It integrates well with rides, allowing families to dip in and out of the activity without it dominating their entire visit at the Resort.
Live characters like the Creeper, Chicken Jockey, and Iron Golem roam the park, bringing the game to life. Families can purchase Minecraft-themed merchandise and snacks to complete their day.
Families booking selected overnight stays at the Resort receive a free second day in the park. This offer remains available for bookings until October 22, 2026, subject to availability.
