I bought an egg chair after years of wanting one - it's great but there's one problem
The bench adds 150 litres of hidden storage, while the egg chair’s cocoon-like design and gentle swing make it a comfortable garden seat.
Assembling The Rowlinson Alderley Rattan Storage Bench and The SOLACE+CO Lola Garden Egg Chair from BedKingdom took more than five hours, a task the reviewers found frustrating despite eventual satisfaction.
Driven by recent heatwaves, the purchase aimed to create a more inviting garden space. The Rowlinson Alderley offers 150 litres of hidden storage for cushions and accessories.
Confusing instructions complicated assembly, particularly when attaching The Lola arms. "After multiple attempts from different angles, we eventually realised we needed to loosen the screws we'd already put in," reviewers noted.
Once fully assembled, The Lola provides a relaxing cocoon-like retreat, while the storage compartment successfully keeps garden cushions tucked away and organized.
BedKingdom buyers should follow manufacturer instructions rather than makeshift fixes, and use sealed plastic bags to protect cushions, as the storage is weatherproof rather than waterproof.
