Police department adds stronger weapons

It was the wish of its municipal police officers. The socialist mayor of Saint-Nazaire, David Samzun, decided to equip his municipal police with lethal weapons. It will be effective in the course of 2025.

LANCASTER — The Lancaster Police Department added nonlethal and lethal weapons, including bean bag munitions, a pepperball launcher, specialized firearms and additional drones, to its military equipment inventory and sought the City Council’s approval for the items.
