Huskies Practice in Full Pads for First Time This Spring - NIU Athletics

DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University football team wrapped up its first three spring practices Tuesday morning (April 1) with the team's first workout in full pads – "real football" - as NIU head coach Thomas Hammock calls it. NIU practiced for two hours, much of it in 11-on-11 situations, in the Chessick Practice Center.
