Hurricane's Meeks Mountain Trails spared as ApCo presents new power-line plan

Appalachian Power representatives have announced a modified network of route options and plan two open houses this month for the 20-mile-long Bancroft-Milton Transmission Line Rebuild Project.The project team collaborated extensively with the community and has eliminated all routes crossing the Meeks Mountain hiking and biking trails near Hurricane City Park in Hurricane, West Virginia.
