There were heart-warming scenes at Charlestown Pool this morning, as staff and swimmers alike farewelled long-serving lifeguard Nick Ophir. Among his decades on the job, one rescue sticks out – and today, he today was paid a special visit, from a young man, whose life was in his hands.
