Hungarian state energy company MVM has signed a five-year agreement to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) from US company Chevron. Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced this on Tuesday on the X network. According to him, supplies will reach 400 million cubic meters per year. However, Hungary will remain heavily dependent on fossil fuel supplies from Russia, reminds AFP.
