Human-caused fire burns near Stone Henge Road, prompts renewed fire danger warnings

A spark from weed-cutting ignited the Stone Henge Fire, which burned under 5 acres and prompted a countywide ban on open burning.

A wildfire that broke out near 10 Stone Henge Road on Aug. 6 was human caused, according to Stillwater County Disaster and Emergency Services Chief David Stamey, who briefed county commissioners on the incident at their Aug. 10 meeting.
