ONTARIO, CANADA, JUL 24 – Huma Qureshi stars in the only Indian film selected for TIFF 2025 Discovery section, highlighting themes of power and justice in a police procedural thriller.
- This year, 'Bayaan' starring Huma Qureshi was selected for the TIFF 2025 Discovery section, making it the only Indian film to premiere there in September.
- Developed with support from the International Film Festival Rotterdam’s Hubert Bals Fund, the Discovery section has previously showcased work by Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuarón and Barry Jenkins.
- The ensemble includes Chandrachur Singh, Sachin Khedekar and Paritosh Sand, and cinematography by Udit Khurana and editing by A Sreekar Prasad.
