CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, JUL 24 – Hulk Hogan, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, won 12 world titles and helped popularize professional wrestling globally during a career spanning five decades, WWE said.
- At age 71, the WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan died on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his Clearwater Beach residence, after suffering cardiac arrest.
- Struggling with a lingering back injury, Hogan had undergone a fusion procedure on his neck in May; his wife Sky Hogan said his heart was `strong`.
- Police and EMTs responded to Hogan’s cardiac arrest, treated him on scene, and transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, TMZ Sports reports.
- WWE said it was deeply saddened by his passing, credited him with 1980s global recognition; Esther Passaris added his charisma and strength transcended the ring; fans and peers reacted.
