'Hugely talented' ice hockey player Gary Kelly dies in suspected fall from Ibiza hotel balcony
SAN ANTONIO, IBIZA, SPAIN, JUL 22 – Ibiza Rocks Hotel paused events after two British tourists died from accidental balcony falls within two weeks, prompting ongoing police investigations and safety concerns.
- Yesterday, a 19-year-old British tourist fell from Ibiza Rocks Hotel's third-floor balcony just after midnight, landing in an outside area, and died instantly.
- In recent years, Ibiza Rocks has experienced multiple balconing incidents, including a Scottish tourist on July 7 and an Italian on April 27, raising safety concerns.
- He fell from the third floor to an outdoor area of the hotel, the incident is under investigation, and paramedics responded but could not save him.
