The new BMW iX3 electric model will be produced at the Debrecen plant in three shifts, according to a 24-hour production schedule, starting in September. The car has already received 100,000 orders in Europe in just one year.
Due to the high demand, production at the Debrecen car factory has ramped up faster than ever. BMW has already received 100,000 European orders for the iX3, and it may start production of another electric model in Hungary in the fall.
