Huey Perry: Trump's policies pushed WV into recession (Opinion)

Rather than investing in Appalachia, Trump has suspended or canceled more than $500 billion in infrastructure projects nationwide and halting green energy programs that were near completion. These projects could have brought jobs, modernized our energy grid, and positioned West Virginia to play a role in America’s clean energy future. Instead, the state is left clinging to a shrinking fossil fuel economy, with no backup plan.
