HOPEWELL TWP. — The Hopewell Valley High varsity baseball team held off a strong challenge from the Pennington School to pull off a 12-9 win Saturday in this Battle for Route 31. The win was the third in a row for the 7-6-1 Bulldogs. Chase Garrow, who picked up the mound win in relief, went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and four runs batted in.
