This school year, the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is available free of charge for seventh-grade students, administered in schools. Parents can submit a consent form by September 15 after receiving information about the importance of the vaccine.
The HPV vaccine is most effective if it is given even before the start of sexual life.
In September, parents of 7th grade girls and boys will again have the opportunity to request the free HPV vaccination for their child. Parents will receive the necessary information and consent form on the first days of the school year; the latter must be returned to the school by September 15, 2026. The vaccination is voluntary, free of charge, and recommended for both girls and boys.
