Yesterday, Wednesday, 2 April, the lawyers of the Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire (PDCI-RDA) were in the court of referenda in Abidjan, in response to a summons to justice brought by a PDCI activist, Valérie Yapo, challenges the legitimacy of Tidjane Thiam at the head of the party.
In Côte d'Ivoire, as the Grand Mass of Yamoussoukro is approaching, which is to launch his presidential campaign, the President of the PDCI is facing legal proceedings brought by one of the party's regional delegates, who requests the suspension of his duties and the placement of the party under guardianship.
The verdict of the case between Tidjane Thiam, President of the PDCI-RDA, and Dame Valérie Yapo, a member of the party, will be known on Friday 11 April, said Blessy Chrysostom, party lawyer.
