Seven months into the war, and despite the enormous strain on Iran's economy and infrastructure, the Islamic nation's leaders still don't appear to be in any hurry to end it. Tehran may want to demonstrate that the United States isn't the only one dictating the pace of the war; it may also hope to increase the military, economic, and political costs for Washington and, ultimately, force the Trump administration to concede to some of its demands.
