Millions of Android mobiles in Venezuela received at 18.04 local time this Wednesday a similar alert to this: “You may feel tremors. Initial magnitude estimated from 6.2 to approximately 221 miles away.” They received it a few moments before feeling the first of the two earthquakes of 7.2 magnitude and 7.5 that shook the north of the country.
