The decisions of the recent NATO Summit in The Hague will also have an effect on the Republic of Moldova, in the context of the tense situation in the region. Authorities in Chisinau say that the increase in defense budget allocations, up to 5% of GDP, for member states also means greater support for partner countries, such as the Republic of Moldova.
The increase in defence costs in NATO countries and the commitment of the Alliance towards Ukraine also brings more stability to the Republic of Moldova, supported by Valerius Mija, State Secretary of State to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE).
