How a downtown building became Springfield's destination for fright

The historic building currently known as the Hotel of Terror at 334 N. Main Ave., which previously served as the Plaza Hotel and Texas Hotel, is scheduled to be demolished following its final season of fright this October to allow for the replacement of the Main Avenue bridge.
