Yemen's Houthis said on Monday they had freed more than 200 of their fighters held by Saudi-backed government forces after seizing large swathes of the Red Sea coast in recent days. "We received 210 of our fighters who were freed from the prisons of the Saudi enemy," said Houthi spokesman Abdelkader al-Murtadha at a news conference in Sanaa. He said they were "prisoners of war" who had been held by government forces for five to eight years.
