If the Houthi movement gains control of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, it could be an advantage for Iran, writes Reuters.
The Houthis, Yemeni pro-Iran fighters, seized on Friday an island in the heart of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, told AFP a government official claiming that they had taken control of the area, a strategic crossing between Europe and Asia.
